Another Great Review

King of Bluegrass: The Life and Times of Jimmy Martin is picking up a lot of ink these days. Here’s a review that ran in ‘Scene’ section of the Louisville Courier Journal on January 31st.

The DVD is now being carried by a bunch of online catalogs, as well as many of your favorite stores. If you prefer to have the film on video (VHS) you can buy it here at our store or online through folks such as County Sales, Ernest Tubb Records, and others.

Meanwhile, we are close to finalizing song selection for the soundtrack to the film, which will be released by Thrill Jockey Records this spring. The CD will be packed with previously unreleased live recordings of Jimmy and the Sunny Mountain Boys, most of which were made in the late 1950s and early 1960s. We’ve also included some of the best recordings we made during the making of the film.
Stay tuned for an upcoming track list for the soundtrack!
