King of Bluegrass has just been selected to screen
at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival,
which runs October 22nd November 16th. Sounds
like a great time of year to head down to the Sunshine
State. This will be especially great because Jimmys
youngest son Lee Martin lives in the Fort Lauderdale
area. Well put the exact date and time of the
screening on the site once everything is set.

Were
also working on getting the word out about King of
Bluegrass screening at the Sidewalk Moving
Picture Festival in Birmingham, September 19th-21st.
Lawrence Peters, who was one of the sound recordists
on the film and helped do archival research, has been
contacting key people in the Alabama Bluegrass world
about the screening and is going to continue to do
some work on this over the next couple of weeks.
Stay
tuned!
