The CD features 10 previously unreleased cuts, including 3 from Jimmy’s heyday on the Louisiana Hayride, 4 songs from a country music park in 1960 that were recorded by Mike Seeger, a cut from Carlton Haney’s first ever bluegrass festival in Fincastle, VA. There also recently recorded live performances from the making of the film and a cut of Jimmy singing a verse and chorus acapella in his living room in Hermitage, TN.
